Hida

An evocation of the ridgeline of the Japanese Alps…HIDA represents a landscape in its quietness, a succession of reliefs and softly contoured peaks, painted by hand. It is illustrated through an handcrafted creation using abaca layout work. Woven manually on a traditional wooden loom, the abaca is then die-cut and glued onto a metallic foil. The brush follows its contours, applying paint along the ridgeline in a cloud-like effect. HIDA comes in four versions : blanc ivoire, gris perle, latté cuivré, bleu nuit.
